The upgrade modal shows up any time you hit a plan cap:
- AI images used up (Free 3/mo, Starter 10/mo, etc)
- AI text calls used up
- 11th post on Free (10/mo cap)
- 4th connection attempt on Free (3-connection cap)
- Requesting a premium AI image model (Flux Pro / GPT-image-1 / Ideogram v3) on Free (which is Flux Schnell only)
What the modal offers
- A one-tier-up suggestion tuned to the feature you just hit
- "See {tier} plan →" button that jumps to /settings/billing?upgrade={tier}
- "Contact sales" link for Enterprise-scale needs
Not now?
Click "Not now" — the modal closes and the action stays blocked. You can retry after upgrading, or wait for the next monthly quota reset.
