Storage caps by tier (R87):
- Free — 250 MB
- Starter — 5 GB
- Growth — 20 GB
- Business — 100 GB
- Enterprise — unlimited
Retention windows
Published post media is kept for a while, then the underlying file is auto-deleted (the Post row + captions stay forever):
- Free / Starter — 30 days
- Growth — 60 days
- Business — 90 days
- Enterprise — 365 days
What counts
- Uploaded images + videos (in the composer)
- Music tracks attached from the editor
- B-roll clips attached from the editor
- Transcoded per-platform variants (auto-purge after 30 days regardless of tier)
What doesn't count
- Thumbnails (tiny)
- AI-generated images kept as references (no storage row created until you attach one)
Free up space
- Settings → Storage shows a breakdown per media kind.
- Click Free up space — delete old posts → to open /posts sorted oldest-first. Delete anything you don't need.
- Or Upgrade plan → for a bigger cap.
Grandfathering (R87)
Free tenants who were over 250 MB when R87 shipped are grandfathered at their previous 500 MB cap for 30 days after the deploy — a status banner on /settings/storage will confirm if you're in this window.
