Organizing your media library with folders

The media library now supports folders so you can group assets by campaign, brand, month, or however you work.

Creating a folder

Open Media library from the top nav. In the left sidebar, click + New. Type a name (up to 60 characters) and the folder appears in the sidebar. You can create up to 200 folders per workspace, and one level of nesting (folders inside root folders).

Moving media into a folder

Two ways, use whichever is faster for your device:

  • Drag and drop (desktop): grab any tile and drop it on a folder in the sidebar. If you have several tiles selected via their checkboxes, dragging one moves all of them.
  • Move-to menu (touch-friendly): tap the small 📁 icon on any tile, or select multiple tiles with the checkboxes and use the Move to… button in the selection bar. Pick the destination folder from the list.

Uploading straight into a folder

If a folder is currently open when you upload, the new assets land in that folder — not Uncategorized. Handy when you're batch-adding campaign shots.

Uncategorized

Anything without a folder shows up under Uncategorized in the sidebar. That bucket always exists; you can't rename or delete it.

Rename and delete

Hover a folder row and use the ✎ (rename) and 🗑 (delete) icons. Deleting a folder never deletes your media — the contents move to Uncategorized, and any nested child folders become top-level.

Search + tag filters

The tag-filter and search still work across the current folder scope. Switch to All media to search everything at once.
